When you drive (or bike) the spectacular Sea-to-Sky
Highway between Vancouver and Squamish, you see
a road sign that shows distance to Squamish.
Just below the English name, you see the area’s
Coast Salish name: Skwxwú7mesh.
The word “mesh” is Coast Salish for ‘people’. So in honour
of the place we love, and the people who live here both
now and in the past, we chose the name 7mesh.
Our logo also draws inspiration from our community.
Its two mountains pay homage to the two icons of
beauty and adventure that live outside of our windows
and oversee our efforts every day — the rugged vista
of Mount Garibaldi, and the graceful curves of the

Test it on two wheels. That’s the
only way to know if it’s better or not.
If it works, it’s invisible. The best

you never think about it.
Seek out innovators. We always
look for new materials and new
ways to make our gear better.
Design for everyone. No matter
who you are, or how serious you are,
we want to make your ride better.

the 7mesh way.
Every 7mesh product embodies our
design ethos: Streamline design and
deliver simplicity without compromise.
Remove, rather than add, to achieve
While our design ethos focuses on
simplicity, our design process is complex
and iterative. We start with the best
materials we can find. We study every
aspect of how they perform and react,
manipulating them by hand, step-by-step.
We pattern, cut, sew, laminate, tape,
punch, press, wear, ride, wash, review,
repeat. These incremental steps yield
progress, inspiration, discovery —
and occasionally, with enough dedication
and resolve, a major breakthrough.
We put equal effort into making quality products
for both men and women. (In fact, the first
7mesh pattern ever built was for our women’s
Revelation jacket.) We build from the ground
up, employing the same design and engineering
ethos in everything we make so that everyone
gets high performance for their particular needs
to test it.
And thankfully, that’s us. We take a hands-on
approach to design. So when we try something
new, we hop on our bikes and try it in the real
world. This helps us fail faster, move ahead,
and get to the real breakthroughs. By the way,
in addition to our ambassadors and product
testers, riders pictured in this book include
our Sales Director, our Operations Director,
and our President.
Life’s tough sometimes.
We source the best materials in the
world. No geographic favourites here.
Whatever works best is what we use.
We also work with the best technical
apparel manufacturing facilities in the
world. Like us, they are committed to
high standards of both performance
and ethics. These go well beyond
typical supplier relationships though;
we work collaboratively with our supplier
partners and consider everyone to be a
part of our team. This gives us a global
community of contributors that combine
to make the best possible products for

We stress about everything. Every seam,
every stitch, every fraction of a gram.
Everything. Weight, durability, comfort,
and function are optimized in every product.
We’re absolutely dedicated to making
everything as close to perfect as possible.
We really do believe that a job worth doing
is worth doing well.

outfitted in 7mesh or have just one or two
pieces, you can expect our products to be:

AND BECOME THE WORLD’S
MOST RESPECTED CYCLING
Our mission at 7mesh has just begun.
We have years worth of projects and ideas
planned and we’re very excited to bring
them to life. We won’t stop obsessing,
innovating, and doing whatever it takes
to realize our goal.
We want to say a huge thank you to
everyone who has supported us, and also
for the amazing, positive feedback along

you are too.

“More than anything, I am happy that the bike industry
(led by 7mesh) is starting to pull their heads out of their asses
and create gear meant for people who don’t hang their
bikes up as soon as it gets wet.”
– MOUNTAIN CULTURE MAGAZINE
“Mmm... 7mesh. Spend enough time with those in the bike
industry and it’s easy to sniff out those who really care about
the details of their products. The sort of keenness for, in this
case, fabrics and garment construction that can make
for eye-rolling among spouses and genuinely odd dinner
conversation. These are the guys that you want designing
and making your clothing – and 7mesh seems to consist
entirely of these guys.”
